Why give?

  • More and more people want to learn about male psychology, but it is virtually absent from training and education around the world. Very often students, trainee psychologists and newly graduated therapists have to search outside the curriculum to find training, but often have no way to fund such training, thus end up lacking insights and skills that could help them better support men and boys.

  • You can help someone access a male psychology course or webinar who might not otherwise be able to afford it. You contribution will help them not only their professional development, but possibly also their personal development, understanding their own issues from a new perspective. This is why, anecdotally, some people find our training courses improve their self-awareness and sense of wellbeing.

  • Your contribution pays only for the training course – nothing goes towards admin or overheads, though you can opt to cover the bank transaction fees if you want to. We allocate funds on a first-come, first-served basis, but may prioritise those facing particular issues that need timely action. All contributions are tracked transparently, and recipients are notified directly when sponsored access becomes available.

“When T.M. emailed the Centre for Male Psychology saying why he needed to do the course and why he wasn’t able pay, I knew it was important that we create a sponsorship process asap. The result is our Pay if Forward plan”.
